Abstract

The invention concerns a roadworking tractor 1 and semi-trailer assembly allowing, in a single operation, the binder and the grit to be spread, while reducing the gap to a minimum and causing a slight reflux of the binder. It comprises a roadworking tractor, fitted with a special tachometer, hitched to a semi-trailer fitted out with: - a binder pump connected by pipes to the tank feeding the spreading distributor 6; - a grit storing hopper with a rolling bottom feeding the hopper of the grit spreading device 5; - a motor compressor unit having compressed air for the "fuel oil" burner and for controlling the distributor; - an auxiliary motor operating hydraulic pumps feeding the rollers of the bottom belt of the hopper and of the grit spreader; - the binder pump. At the rear, valves permit control, flow rate and adjustment of these hydraulic motors according to dose rates calculated in accordance with the speed of forward progress.
