Abstract

Cap for a bottle containing a food or edible oil of the type comprising a cover 2 with a spout 3 for pouring the oil and which is screwed onto the neck of the bottle, the said cap being characterised in that it comprises a longitudinal pouring spout 3, a main guide 7 and a secondary guide 8 disposed in steps in order to leave spaces 5, 6 for the return of oil which has run along the outside periphery of the pouring spout 3, the bottom of the main guide 7 and of the secondary guide 8 being inclined and annular return regions 11, 12 formed in the bottom part of the pouring spout 3, the inside of the cover 2 being closely fitted to the upper peripheral region of the pouring spout 3 and to the secondary guide 8, the upper 2' and lower 2'' parts of the cover 2 being stepped.
