Abstract

Soles with attachments for progression over icy terrain consist of a plate No. 1 having sufficiently hard edges to bite into the frozen snow and of a plate No. 2 in which are hollowed out the housings in which the attachments are fastened and held in place by the clamping of the plates 2 on 1, clamping being produced by a system with several clamping points which may be of the screw-and-nut type or otherwise.
