Abstract

The fastening is for securing a cover to the headrest of a vehicle seat. It comprises a cavity (A), in the lower face of the headrest which is shallow and incorporates channels (2) along its longitudinal edges. An insert (20) engages into the cavity (A), trapping the edges of the cover (6) between the longitudinal channels and the cooperating edges (5) of the insert. The cavity (A) is formed as a moulding secured to the framework of the headrest.
