Abstract

The invention relates to a backrest (16) of a seat of a vehicle (10), which backrest comprises a backrest frame (17) having a post (171), the post (171) preferably being intended to be located near the centre of the vehicle (10), and an airbag device (36). The airbag device (36) comprises an airbag (44) and a strap (56) attached to the airbag (44). The airbag device (36) is attached to the post (171) of the backrest frame (17) at at least one first attachment point (48), by means of an attachment device (50) having a pin (52) passing through the post (171). The strap (56) is attached to the pin (52) of the attachment device (50).
