Abstract

The display box for medals or coins consists of a setting by which the medals or coins are held firmly in the middle of a rigid plate. A retaining ring which is flexibly deformable is pressed into place, and can be of various geometric shapes. It can be inserted also by lowering its temp. and hammering it out, or by rotating it if it is threaded or has lugs. The inset piece can be removed from the plate by pressing on the piece, and by removing the ring.

 40) Other models of rings can be envisaged, the principle of insertion of which is different. On the drawing, the rigid plate carries the mark (1), and the coin. or medal, the marker (2).

Claims (4)
