Abstract

The gas valve has a body (1) with a vertical inlet (2) and a horizontal outlet (3). The valve seal (23) is located in the body and immobilised by two hemispherical protuberances. The valve disc (13) is an inverted cup with inner divisions forming separate compartments. The side walls are extended upwards to form four separate lugs (10). A collar (9) has four driving dogs (10) which engage the lugs (11) of the valve disc. The collar is rotated by a valve spindle (5) which in turn has a key (7) engaging in a slot (8) in the collar. The spindle is spring loaded axially and depressed to engage it in the collar.
