Abstract

The vault has longitudinal pieces and end pieces of each chamber made by plane panels. The vault has a grooved surround frame (3) holding, by interlocking, the longitudinal panels (1) and end panels (2). Each surround also acts as a support for the separation slab between chambers, such an assembly giving a reinforced rigidity to the vault. Each surround has a top groove (3A) to take panels (1,2) of a top chamber, and a bottom groove (3B) to take the panels (12) of a bottom chamber.

Claims

1. Funerary vault in prefabricated elements of easy manufacture and assembly dispensing with any fixing accessory and whose longitudinal and end elements of each box consist of panels, characterized in that it comprises grooved belts (3), each belt serving to hold by fitting simple longitudinal (1) and end (2) panels devoid of any horizontal rebate or console, each belt also serving as a support for a separation slab between boxes, the whole of this arrangement conferring, in addition, on the vault, a reinforced solidity.

2. Burial vault according to claim 1 characterized in that each belt comprises an upper groove (3A) for receiving and maintaining the panels (1) and (2) of an upper compartment and a lower groove (3B) for receiving and maintaining the panels (1) and (2) of a lower box.

3. Funerary vault according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that it comprises a grooved bottom slab whose groove (5) receives the panels (1) and (2) of the deepest box.

4. Funerary vault according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the panels (1) and (2) of the upper box receive a belt element (3) on which is disposed a top slab (7 ).

5. Funerary vault according to any one of claims i to 4, characterized in that each belt can be produced in several parts with miter cuts in the corners, a holding element which can be embedded in a reserve (8) made in the corners of the upper groove (3A) of the belt.

6. Burial vault according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the end panels (2) may comprise, but not necessarily, vertical rebates (2A) for interlocking the longitudinal panels (1).
