Abstract

The protective helmet (2), for a motorcyclist, has press studs for fixing on accessories such as a visor (4) or chin guard (6). One part of each press stud (3,5) is fixed to the helmet and complementary parts (10,15) are fixed to the accessory. The parts fixed on the accessory are held in slots (13,17), so that their position can be altered. The slots are longitudinal and vertical relative to the helmet. Transverse slots (14,18) open from them at different levels. The depth of the transverse slots is at least equal to the length of the press stud shank.
