Abstract

The sprayer and atomiser incorporates one or more vessels (3) containing liquid (4) and in which the end of a tube is immersed. The other end of the tube (5,8,9) is connected to a nozzle (10) also connected to a compressed-air supply pipe (11). The length of the tube between vessel and nozzle is large and passes through a rotary peristaltic pump (7). The nozzle atomises the liquid even when not under pressure, being typically dome-shaped. The compressed-air pipe can be arranged to pass through a filter (13) before reaching the compressor (14).
