IT IS CONSTITUTED BY COLD FORMING OF A BLANK OF SQUARE OR RECTANGULAR METAL SHEET ALLOWING TO OBTAIN A PALLETIZING PLAN 1, CONSISTING OF BANDS 1A, 1B SEPARATED BY HOLLOWS 2 FORMING BEAMS, THEY themselves CONSTITUTE OF SURFACES ON THE GROUND 2A, 2B SEPARATED BY HOLES 2C. THE ASSEMBLY IS RIGIDIFIED BY RIBS 3 AND BY AN EDGE BEND 4. THE INVENTION APPLIES TO ALL HANDLING AND TRANSPORT PALLETS FOR ALL PRODUCTS.

  The present invention relates to devices for handling

  Among the known devices of this kind, it is often used, the pallets made entirely of wood consisting of two panels clear-spacers by means of longitudinal members or wooden battens ensuring the rigidity of the assembly and the passage of the forks longitudinally to these cleats and in the annular volume separating the panels. It is also used, but in a limited way, for the transport of some generally light products, pallets made of cardboard honeycomb or expanded polystyrene, mounted on pads also in cardboard placing the bottom of the pallet b a distance sufficient compared to the ground so as to give free access to the forks of

  grasping the carriage. These different achievements are vulnerable

  the shocks occurring during handling and do not

  not always the necessary features including resistance to bending and compression. In addition, the access of the forks of the trolley can be done generally only on two

opposite sides of the pallet.

  The handling pallet according to the invention overcomes these disadvantages. This has indeed a high resistance to the bending and compressive forces: its support by the forks of a forklift can be carried out indifferently by one or the other of the four sides of the pallet: finally , the invention aims to obtain stacking

  a large amount of pallets in height.

  The pallet, which is the subject of the invention, is produced in a way

  monobloc by cold forming of a square or rectangular sheet blank

  The accompanying drawings illustrate, by way of example, an embodiment of a pallet handling according to the present invention. In these: - Figure 1 shows a longitudinal sectional elevational view through the axis of a beam, - Figure 2 shows a cross-sectional view along AA, - Figure 3 shows a perspective view of the pallet cavalier. As shown, the embodiment of the handling pallet consists in the cold forming, according to any known method, of a blank of square metal or rectangular shaped sheet metal, so as to obtain a pulquetization plane 1 consisting of side strips 1a and 1b spacers parallel to one side of the pallet and separated by recesses corresponding to beams 2 of trapezoidal cross-section tip down. Each of these beams is formed longitudinally of a succession of end bearing surfaces 2a and intermediate 2b separated by arc-shaped risings 2c. Such a configuration of these beams on the one hand and the spacer space separating them on the other hand realize on each of the four sides of the pallet of inputs for the gripping forks of the forklift handling. The palletizing plane is stiffened by the presence of a bundle of parallel ribs 3 of semicircular section disposed perpendicular to the beams and surrounding them beneath the rear face of said palletizing plane, as well as by the execution of a crushed fold 4, bordering the plane on all its perimeter. The structure of the pallet thus obtained gives it a high resistance to compression and flexion allowing it to admit a high load. On the other hand the shape and arrangement of the beams and ribs allows pallets stacking by nesting under a reduced volume, facilitating storage during non-use as may be the

  case inside a truck for example.

Claims (1)

- CLAIM -   1.- Pallet handling of good resistance to the compressive forces and bending, whose support by the forks of a forklift can be carried out indifferently by one or the other of its flanks and whose structure allows the stacking under a small volume by interlocking in height,   characterized in that it is made integrally by means of   cold wiping of a sheet metal blank of square or rectangular shape so as to obtain a palletizing plan, consisting of side and intermediate strips parallel to   one side of the pallet and separated by cores cor-   corresponding to beams of trapezoid-shaped straight cross section pointing downwards, each of said beams being constituted longitudinally by a succession of end and intermediate support surfaces separated by arc-shaped risers, the configuration of the beams and the interspace separating them making on each of the four sides of the pallet of the inputs for the introduction of the gripping forks of the forklift, which palletizing plane is stiffened by the presence of a bundle of parallel ribs half section arranged perpendicularly to the girders and surrounding them under the rear face of said plane and by the execution of a crushed fold bordering this plane on all its perimeter.
