Abstract

The desk has a frame made up of a pair of parallel, inverted U-shaped end sections (2) joined by a pair of parallel upper bars (3) and a horizontal rectangular framework (4). A pair of boards (7) are pivotally mounted on respective horizontal axes which extend between the two end sections just above the rectangular frame. The boards may be pivoted to a horizontal position where they act as work surfaces or may be pivoted to an inclined position to be used as drawing boards or easels.
