Abstract

The device distributes edible products contained by a receptacle (10) which is closed by a plug (1). Coupled movable discs (5,7) with windows (6,8) are used to effect a metered discharge. The plug is cut away (2) and the discs are connected by an axle (4). The two discs may be rigidly connected to the axle and, rotate with one another, their windows (6,8) being offset so the opening (2) is open at one end only at any given time. The arrangement prevents direct communication between the receptacle and the exterior. The plug may have a split (9) which opens to permit its mounting on the axle (4). It is made of plastics and is opened by pressing the lips of the bolt- hole (2) together pincer fashion.
