Abstract

The sight correction device is for a shot gun with superimposed barrels used in clay pigeon shooting. It consists of a longitudinal unitary rod fixed on a strap with movable attachments. The rod has flat sides and can move in the vertical plane by its rear end. The front end of the rod is fixed by its front end on the strap. The rear of the rod is raised by a back sight which slides on a cursor.

Description

 The present invention relates to sighting devices for competition or hunting rifles with two superimposed barrels.

 Competition or shotguns with superimposed barrels have the line of sight too low since the barrels are slightly oriented upwards To compensate for this orientation, the shooter must apply a corrective angle I1 there are rifles fitted with a rod longitudinal correction, directly fixed to the upper barrel, by screws.

This rod is formed of at least two juxtaposed parts which considerably increases the cost price of its assembly, in addition, this poses difficulties in fixing to the barrel. Another disadvantage lies in the fact that these bands must be perforated on their different sides taking into account the heating of the barrel.

 The device that is the subject of these presents overcomes these drawbacks without increasing the cost price of these rifles. Its design is very simple and allows very quick mounting on all shotguns and balltrap rifles.

 The device, object of the present, consists of a one-piece longitudinal rod, of square or rectangular section. This rod is fixed directly to the ventilated strip which is joined to the barrel by welding. This flat strip is a sighting element, currently existing on rifles with superimposed barrels, but does not correct the aforementioned defects. The longitudinal rod has a greater height at the end resting on the barrel on the tilting side and it decreases to its other end fixed to the end of the barrel, so as to form a correction angle.

The aiming rod is fixed to the ventilated strip by any suitable means such as by screwing so that it is removable. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the aiming rod can be manufactured with very diverse materials such as mild steel, aluminum, carbon, or hard plastic.

 The drawings appended hereto illustrate by way of nonlimiting example an embodiment of the device according to the invention.

 As shown in Figures 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, the ds- positive consists of a rod 1 of rectangular section, the lateral sides 2 have their height which increases from the front 3 of the barrels 4 back to point 5.  FIG. 7 represents another embodiment of the device to compensate for the vision defect, the aiming rod 1 can be replaced by a movable sight 16 on the ventilated strip 11, fulfilling the same role as the rod 1.

1) Aiming correction device for rifle with superimposed barrels, characterized in that it comprises a one-piece longitudinal rod fixed to a strip ventilated by removable fasteners. 2) Device according to claim l, characterized in that the rod has its solid sides. 3) Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the rod can be movable on the vertical plane by its rear extremity. 4) Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the movable rod is connected by its front end to the ventilated strip. 5) Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the rear end of the movable rod is raised by a rise. 6) Device according to claim 4, characterized in that the rise slides on a cursor.
