Abstract

For securing a bicycle saddle to the top of a pillar of a bicycle frame (1) a two part clip is secured by a single bolt. This clip consists of an open rectangular frame (2) and a block (3) with a hole through it for the clamping bolt. Both parts have grooves (31,22) into which fit the two parallel rods which carry the saddle. The frame has a flange (21) along each side, projecting downwards to fit over a curved block (10) on top of the pillar. This centres the assembly on the pillar, but can also slide forwards or backwards to control the angle of tilt of the saddle before the clamping bolt is tightened.
