Abstract

The exercise bench can have its height or inclination adjusted by adjustable legs and has a traction system for exercising. This is a sliding seat with two ropes fixed to it which pass over pulleys and have handles at the other end. Two elastic straps are also fixed to the seat and pass over pulleys at the other end of the bench. The seat has rollers underneath and metallic feet that fit over the edge of the bench. The elastic straps can be hooked to the rope handles when not required.

DESCRIPTION
The object of the invention relates to a muscular bench having the particularity of being used either as a bench or as a muscular, to be adjustable both in height and in inclination, to be used with a trolley and to offer several possibilities adjustment.

The known devices of this geinre do not offer possibilities of use of the axis and are limiting as for their possibilities of adjustment of the device. In addition, many are not autonomous and can be used with support plans (wall bars).

 The device according to the invention eliminates these drawbacks and not only assists autonomous and mikte use, but also a wide variety of adjustments both in position and in intensity.

In the appended drawings given as a non-illustrative example of one of the embodiments of the subject of the invention:
Figure 1 against an overview of the bench in question formed of a plane 1, two sides 2, legs tiltable to the ground 3, a removable carriage 4 prefigured in thin lines and a cnsemble rope 5 elastic 6 pulleys 7 retractable intended for bodybuilding work.

Figure 2 shows the block diagram of the use of the carriage. The user 8 is lying on the latter and pulls on the rope 5 provided with a handle at the end. The rope passes through a pulley 7 and is hung on the carriage. This action advances the carriage along arrow 9. The elastic 6 is attached to the carriage, passes over an axis 10 provided with pulleys and is attached to a peg 11. The action of the user has the effect of tightening the elastic therefore to increase its effort. When it releases its effort, the elastic returns the carriage to its initial position.

Figure 3 shows in section the carriage. This consists of a plane 12 covered with foam 16, rollers 13, 4 guide stops 14 and 2 legs 19 on which are welded 2 chain links 18 for the attachment of the corda and the elastic. The trolley stops in translation by means of the legs 15 which abut on the axes of the benches 10 and 17 and which prevent it from lifting. The latter protrude slightly and one of them 17 is retractable to let the carriage go.

 Figure 4 shows the operating principle of the retractable axis 17. It consists of a round tube 19 in which are threaded two split half-axes 20. Two pins 21 pass through the tube and pass through the slots of the half-axes. A helical spring 23 maintains the half-axes in position. It is the latter who protrude from the bench. To let the carriage out, simply press the two half-axes which slide away.

By releasing them, the spring returns them to their initial position.

 The description above shows the extreme diversity of possibilities for using the weight bench. Indeed, it is possible, thanks to the possible inclination on one side to use it inclined, hence the possibility of not using the elastic. On the other hand, in order to modulate the effort of the user, it can be used with a greater or lesser inclination, with one or two elastic bands or no elastic at all.

Musculator bench which can be used as a bench or a musculator which can be adjusted in height up to the zero point (ground) and be tilted in a variable manner thanks to a tilting support foot for apparatus, characterized by a traction system for bodybuilding composed of a trolley with two traction cords provided with end handles, fixed to two legs of the trolley and which pass through two pulleys, two elastic bands also taken on the legs of the trolley and passing through an axis provided with pulleys to provide assistance to the cart. By hanging the elastic bands fitted with hooks on the handles of the ropes, the assembly can be retracted for use on a bench. 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized by a displacement carriage provided with rollers having the particularity of not having a guide rail, in fact the latter is made by means of perpendicular metal legs or by casters having the profile of the bench. Two other, larger legs are used for hanging ropes and elastic bands and have a return parallel to the bench which prevents it from rising.  3. Device according to claim 1 characterized by an axis whose ends can retract in order to allow the carriage to pass. It consists of a spring threaded into a tube and two half-axes threaded on either side of the spring. These half-axes are split over a certain length and two pins which cross the initial tube pass through the slots and ensure the stop in translation of the two half-axes. To ensure the retraction of the half-axes, it suffices to push them, the spring returning them to their initial position when they are released
