Abstract

The beak guard is made from a flexible plastics and comprises a boat-shaped cover which is longer than the bird's beak and has smooth rounded ends (2,3). It is used inverted, the open side downwards and has a front (8) and a smaller rear (9) aperture for aeration and breathing. A small hole (5) is provided each side, opposite each other, used for inserting a single fixing pin (4). This has a ball (6) at one end and a flexible tang (7) at the other end. Problem.

 When birds are raised in high concentrations and they are confined in an aviary, their mutual aggressiveness 8 'worsens and they injure each other. Statement of the invention.

 The device of the invention is mainly characterized by the fact that the fixing pin has a guard by limiting the sinking, and an elastic barb at its tip, to prevent withdrawal, and that the device itself has a shape in gutter with rounded outline with days on the top but not on the extreme front and the sides, the shape of the device marrying the shape of the top of the upper mandible and the frontal part of the bird.

 Description of an embodiment.
