Abstract

The system for heating radiators from an open fireplace uses a water jacket (2) enclosing the fireplace on two sides. Behind each vertical panel of the water jacket is a hollow panel (1) which also distributes heated air into the room. The water jacket is directly heated by the fire, and also water is circulated through it by hollow fire dogs (5). This gives a circulation by natural convection, or the flow may be pump assisted. Air enters the hollow rear panel through a bottom connection (6) and is discharged through outlet tubes (7) at the outside of the jacket.

Description

 This invention relates to a suitable water heater in the chimney providing a high temperature heater for a medium fire.

For a corner box (I) of this type, 7 radiators (IV) can be adapted to it for a surface of 90 m2. It is understood that the heat will be all the more important than the well-fed fire.

 This heating can be done alone in thermo-siphon or with an accelerator (II) or in coupling on an existing central heating where a saving of 70 to 90 o / o if the user uses his chimney in a way continue at least in the day.

 I1 allows, also, to have a reserve of domestic hot water of I50 liters (III) maximum without reducing the heat of the radiators.
