Abstract

The branch-shaking mechanism is for mechanical fruit-harvesting, and comprises a number of shaker units, allowing operations to be arranged in series. Each unit can be controlled separately to give optimum effect, combinedwith automatic winding-in. The pre-loading of each shaker, adjustment of its tension when working, its movement, its release and its re-winding can be controlled by a single lever, and the movement amplitude of its free end can also be independently adjustable.
