Abstract

The car cover includes a rollable tarpaulin (2) having flaps (3) which can be lowered to cover the side windows. A tarpaulin housing (5) is mounted at the rear end of the vehicle and has a slot for the passage of the tarpaulin. The housing is shaped as an aerofoil (7) whose front face rises at an obtuse angle to the bodywork (9). The end of the tarpaulin pref. carries a profiled rod which fits into the slot, pref. situated near the aerofoil upper edge, when the tarpaulin is rolled up.
