Abstract

Household equipment, e.g. washing machines, for fitment into built-in kitchen units, have feet which may be adjusted to height, and a device for adjusting the back feet from the front of the machine, using a worm screw on a shaft operated by e.g. a key, and a spiral gear engaging with the screw. The device makes for much easier movement of the machine into and out of position in the kitchen. Adjustment of height to accommodate e.g. a working surface, is effected easily.
