Abstract

The central-heating boiler is for mounting in the hearth of a chimney, having a water vessel with hot-water supply and return pipes. The vessel consists of two parallel tanks, the first (9) mounted in the hearth near the fire-back (5), and the second (12) in front of the first and with connections (11) to it. A space is left between the two tanks, and the second one can be of lower height than the first. A movable damper (18) can be provided, capable of shutting off the portion of the flue (10) between the first tank and its base.
