Abstract

The vessel consists of a catamaran hull with two floats (1) and a joining bridge (2). The mast (3) is mounted centrally on the bridge and has a fixed yardarm (4). Two angled spars (5) are fixed, one to each stem of each float and suspended below the yardarm (4) by a fixed ring. The vessel is fitted with two parallel sails (7) each supporting a horizontal boom, and each fixed along the lift to the sloping spar (5). The floats may be arranged to swivel along a longitudinal axis.
