Abstract

The sliding support for ski bindings allows them to move longitudinally on the ski. This permits the skier's feet to be optimally postioned to prevent falls. It consists of a base fixed on the ski and a mobile support that slides in this. The support is moved by the variable inclination of a telescopic lever fixed to the support behind the leg. The lever is joined to the leg by a reinforced band of plastics material fastened under the knee. The movement of the leg thus controls the movement of the support.
