Abstract

Ski binding comprises a clamping portion applied to the leg of the skier, connected to a body which is rigidly connected to but adjustable relative to the ski. The clamping portion pref. comprises self-closing sleeve (401) of which the two ends are joined together by fasteners, e.g. two straps (402) and buckles (403), or it may comprise the shaft of the boot itself. The body connected to the ski pref. comprises a plate (406) which is attached to the ski (404) by screws and on which is formed a longitudinal guide for a slide (408) bearing a damper (411). The shaft (414) of the damper ends in a transverse socket receiving a pin (420) for connecting the damper to the sleeve.
