Abstract

The ladder accessory duals as an enlarged demountable tread or a stop block etc for framed ladder scaffolds. It comprises two oppositely superimposable and demountable shells. The shells may have plate rectangular external faces with antiskid ribbing, may connect by means of a dovetail type joint to form a hinge at abutting long edges, and may use a screw to connect the opposite edges. A bi-valve type clamp thus obtained is clamped side by side on a rung to form a substantial tread, or is iused to clamp a rung of a vertical ladder to a rung of a horizontal ladder.
