Abstract

A machine for the heat treatment of textile yarns comprises at least one pre-steaming chamber, a steam chamber and two cooling chambers disposed either side of the steam chamber. Both the pre-steaming chamber and the steam chamber are grouped together in a single machine. The machine of the invention provides a swollen yarn at the exit of the thermal treatment, of improved quality, as compared with other steam treatments.
