Abstract

The hydrotherapy unit comprises two vertical arrays of nozzles which emit high pressure jets of water in two vertical planes. The nozzles (5b, 5c) are mounted respectively on the uprights (1b, 1c) of a rectangular, tubular frame which is adjusted to the height of the patient's back. The upper crossbar (1a) has a spray head (2) which directs water onto the patien'ts neck. The nozzles and spary head have a communal source of water and the banks of nozzles are oriented so that the spary jets converge at 90 deg. at the patient's spine.
