Abstract

The frame to support a patient in the most effective position for masage, has a pedestal one end, on which is mounted a seat (1). At the other end is a vertical column (6) with a support ( 2) for the forearms of the patient at low level. Above this is mounted a chest support (3) and above this a chin support (4) and a forehead support, the latter two on a common arm. All these supports are height adjustable. At the top of the column is an overhanging beam (7) from which equipment can be supported. Alongside the forearm support is a further surface (8) for other equipment etc.
