Abstract
The vessel is fitted with two additional manoeuvring propellers (1, 2) one each at the bow and stern. The propellers operate in a pipe (3, 4) coaxial with the propeller. The bow and stern are also fitted with two manoeuvring rudders at each end. The rudder blades are close to the side of the vessel and have an externally curved shape and a flat inner surface parallel to the flat surface of the ship's side.
