Abstract

The appts. comprises a drop dispenser, a drop detector, a means for establishing a time base datum and an adjustable pulse generator which can be set to the required frequency of the drops to be administered. The appts. now comprises an electronic circuit comprising a counter/comparator which receives signals from both the drop detector and the pulse generator. The circuit operates a servo-mechanism which adjusts the frequency of drop delivery to match the rhythm set on the pulse generator. The quantity of liq. delivered per min. can be varied over a very wide range. The frequency of drops per minute can be changed by adjusting the pulse generator. The drop dispensing nozzle can be selected from a wide range of dias. which offer different numbers of drops per cm3.
