Abstract

A method for the automatic preparation of a beverage from a soluble beverage base and a liquid which are metered into a container in predetermined quantities in an automatic beverage dispenser. The beverage base, before being poured into the container, is fed into an intermediate hopper (1), the outlet from which is opened after a predetermined time for the delivery of the beverage.
