Abstract

The soil drilling unit comprises a lower frame, with a drilling platform (1). This supports tubular side columns (4, 3) and a crosspiece at the top. Within this frame is the upper frame; this also has tubular side columns (5, 6) connected by a crosspiece (9) at the top. The upper frame extends telescopically upwards, using hydraulic rams (7, 8) operating within the side columns; these latter pass through the lower frame crosspiece and are fitted with guide rollers. The hydraulic motor (16), with its head and roller (10) for the supply hoses, is at the top of the upper frame.
