Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour le traitement des lentilles de contact afin d'en retirer les dépôts inorganiques et d'empêcher la formation de ces dépôts. Selon l'invention, on met une lentille en contact avec une solution aqueuse contenant une quantité efficace d'un agent séquestrant choisi dans le groupe consistant en un polymétaphosphate, de l'acide gluconique et ses sels, pendant un temps suffisant pour retirer les dépôts inorganiques et empêcher la formation de dépôts inorganiques sur la lentille. L'invention s'applique notamment à l'ophtalmie.
