Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un dispositif de détection de la position d'une bande magnétique dans un appareil d'enregistrement et/ou de reproduction sur bande magnetique, comprenant un guide-bande qui vient en contact avec une bande magnétique se déplaçant suivant un trajet donné, par la face opposée à celle qui porte la couche magnétique. Une tête détectrice 28 formée dans le guide-bande 27 sur son côté avant permet de reproduire un signal d'indication de la position de la bande sur la bande magnétique 13 à partir de son côté opposé à celui de la couche magnétique, et des moyens permettent de détecter une position désirée de la bande en réponse à la détection du signal indicateur par ladite tête 28.
