Abstract

The piston motion work consists of a cam (8) which is connected to the drive shaft (7). The piston rod (3) has a small end bush (2) and has two rollers which run on the cam profile. The brush runs in the groove (6). The shaft also has the valve cams and the remaining auxiliaries are driven from the shaft. The increased power stroke from the cam drive increases the output of the engine.
