Abstract

The door leaf (2) has a fixed plate (4) screwed to it and this plate is connected to a moving plate (5) by a thermal fuse (10) and a spring (7). The moving plate has a notch (11) receiving the finger of the electromagnetic bolt (13) fixed solidly to the wall (P). When the finger is in the notch, the door is held in the open position against the wall but when the electromagnet receives a signal or the thermal fuse breaks in the event of a fire, notch and finger disengage and the spring (3) returns the door to the closed position.
