Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un additif pour huiles lubrifiantes. Le procédé consiste à mettre en contact dans des conditions réactionnelles un amino-acide et un composé métallique à réaction basique, le contact ayant lieu en présence d'au moins un agent de mise en suspension pour le composé métallique à réaction basique et en présence d'un activateur hydroxylique. Le procédé de l'invention permet d'obtenir des additifs pour huiles lubrifiantes à faible teneur en cendres et à forte valeur d'alcalinité L'invention décrit également des sels de métaux du Groupe I ou du Groupe II d'amino-acides, notamment des sels de magnésium de N-carboxy-amino-acides.
