Abstract

Un objet de matière céramique ou métallique est fabriqué par pressage isostatique d'un corps préformé à partir d'une poudre de la matière céramique ou métallique. Le corps préformé 10 est enfoui dans du verre, par exemple dans une masse de particules de verre 16, à l'intérieur d'un récipient qui est résistant à la température à laquelle est effectué le frittage de la matière céramique ou métallique, et le verre est transformé en une fusion présentant une surface délimitée par les parois du récipient au-dessous de laquelle se trouve le corps préformé, une pression nécessaire pour le pressage isostatique du corps préformé étant appliquée au moyen d'un agent de pression gazeux sur la fusion.
