Abstract
The static converter assembly has two heat sinks carrying respective sets of rectifiers and separated from one another. An insulating circuit board (15) is positioned at right angles to the opening delineated by the cooling elements and carries a printed circuit (26, 27) on one side (15a) The board connects the rectifiers (6-8) one with another and connects the cathodes (22-24) of excitation rectifiers (19-21) to one another. The excitation rectifiers can be mounted directly on the plate. The advantage lies in lower cost.
