Abstract

L'invention a pour objet des prépolymères de solidification de déchets radioactifs et un procédé de solidification de déchets radioactifs à l'aide d'un tel prépolymère. Le prépolymère comprend des motifs d'un résorcinol, des motifs d'un phénol et des motifs de formaldéhyde, le rapport molaire résorcinol/phénol étant supérieur à 0,6 : 1,0 et le rapport molaire formaldéhyde/résorcinol + phénol étant de 0,5 à 0,9 : 1,0, le prépolymère contenant en outre plus de 50 % en poids de matières non volatiles. Le procédé de solidification consiste à ajouter les déchets radioactifs, du paraformaldéhyde et une charge à ce prépolymère et à condenser le tout Possibilité d'évacuer plus facilement les déchets radioactifs de centrales nucléaires.
