Abstract

Dispositif d'étanchéité entre deux pièces, l'une fixe, l'autre mobile en rotation et permettant une liberté de translation axiale et une liberté de translation radiale et angulaire limitée. Le dispositif comporte une bague flottante 6 en matériau de bonne resistance au frottement logée dans un chambrage 5 constitué par l'assemblage de deux pièces 3a et 3b réalisant le boîtier fixe, l'étanchéité côté intérieur entre la bague et l'arbre tournant 2 étant assurée au moyen de joints toriques ou autres 8 dont le serrage sur l'arbre assure un entraînement en rotation de la bague et un déplacement axial de l'arbre, l'étanchéité côté extérieur entre la bague et le boîtier étant assurée au moyen d'un joint à lèvres ou autres 9 dont le serrage sur la bague assure une liaison en rotation de la bague et du joint. L'invention s'applique à tous les cas où l'étanchéité entre milieux liquides ou gazeux doit être assurée et plus particulièrement sur les sorties de tubes d'étambot des lignes d'arbres de navires.
