Frein à tambour pour véhicule, comportant des mâchoires intérieures qui sont montées sur des tôles de support, fixes, et dont les bords qui sont en regard sont poussés par des moyens élastiques, axialement contre la tôle de support ou un organe relié à celle-ci. b. Frein caractérisé en ce que les garnitures 9, 10 débordent par rapport aux mâchoires 4, 5 sur le côté des mâchoires 4, 5 tourné vers la tôle de support 2.
