Abstract

The container has cylindrical sides and a threaded portion (22) at the end. The end cap has a central cylindrical part (20) which fits inside the smooth sides of the container. The outside edge of central rib (18) is compressed against the inside surface of the container. The outside of the cap has an internal thread fitting the thread of the container. The cap can be made as a one-piece plastics moulding.
