Abstract

A support garment for men, which may be an under-garment, or worn alone, e.g. as bathing dress, offers support to the genital organs in the form of a pyramid-shaped pocket in the front of the garment. The sides of the pyramid are curved to fit the male anatomy, and the pocket may be open, or closed. A central convex seam in the pocket is joined to a second paraboloid convex seam. The pocket of the front part and the crutch reinforcement of the garment are formed, in the example, of a light cotton fabric cut on the bias. The rest of the garment, including the back, is formed of knitted elastic yarns.
