Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif à utiliser pour développer une image latente électrostatique formée sur la surface porteuse de l'image d'une bande électrophotographique, par du produit liquide de virage tandis que cette surface passe par un trajet au-delà de lui. Selon l'invention un récipient allongé 33 contient une certaine quantité du produit liquide de virage 49, et il a une paroi supérieure 43, ayant une ouverture en fente allongée 45, au moins une partie 47 de la surface de paroi 43 étant faite en un matériau conducteur; et un cylindre d'alimentation 51 est monté rotatif dans le récipient et dimensionné et placé pour contacter le produit liquide de virage et s'étend partialement hors du récipient le long de l'ouverture pour définir un espace entre le cylindre d'alimentation et la surface porteuse de l'image 13 pour le transfert du produit liquide de virage. L'invention s'applique notamment à la reproduction de documents.
