Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil destiné à établir une référence de cap et d'assiette pour un véhicule pouvant effectuer des mouvements suivant trois axes orthogonaux. Cet appareil comprend deux gyroscopes 10, 12 et au moins, et de préférence, trois accéléromètres 16, 18, 20 montés sur un plateau tournant 22. Les gyroscopes produisent des signaux de vitesse angulaire et les accéléromètres des signaux d'accélération linéaire. Le plateau tournant peut être placé, autour d'un axe vertical, dans l'une ou l'autre de deux positions espacées de 180 degrés . Domaine d'application : pilotage de véhicules tels que des hélicoptères, des aéronefs, des chars de combat, des camions, etc.
