Abstract

The lock has a latch, and one or more drive bars emerging from the lock case, extensible by turning an inside handle coupled to a latch knob, and blockable in this position by a key-operated blocking unit. The bar is coupled to a second hand knob, on the outside of the door, while the latch is withdrawable by a gear lever, by key operation, and the bar has a cutout near the edge facing the latch. The top edge of the cutout has a sloping surface for latch control, turned towards the rear side of the latch. This enables the dirve bar to be displaced from its open position even if the latch head is not completely extended.
