Abstract
The four stroke internal combustion engine is supplied with a mixture of gaseous oxygen and hydrogen. The gases are generated from water stored in a tank (7) and delivered by a pump (8) driven from the engine (9), to two batteries (1, 2). The batteries (1, 2) generate hydrogen and oxygen from the water and deliver it to the engine. The combustion of the gases in the engine produces steam which is condensed to water by passing it through a condenser which is cooled by a vapour-cycle refrigerating pant. The condensed water is re-used so that there is no pollution of the atmosphere.
