Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation de sulfure de 2,2'-bisØ4-(1,1,3,3-tétraméthylbutyl)phénolõ. On met en suspension dans un solvant organique le 4-(1,1,3,3-tétraméthylbutyl)phénol, on le fait réagir avec le dichlorure ou le monochlorure de soufre à une température de - 10 à 40 degrés C et on isole le précipité ainsi obtenu. Le produit ainsi obtenu peut être utilisé comme stabilisant à la lumière, modificateur de polyoléfines, additif d'une huile lubrifiante ou un produit intermédiaire pour la fabrication de ces derniers.
